As a climate activist, my advocacy extends beyond environmental concerns to embrace the principles of gender justice and transformative education. I firmly believe that achieving climate justice necessitates a holistic approach that includes addressing gender disparities. My journey towards environmental consciousness began early in life, as I adopted a vegan lifestyle at the age of 15, recognizing the interconnectedness between dietary choices and environmental impact. Growing up by the ocean, I developed a profound respect for all living beings, prompting me to initiate beach cleaning activities at the age of 6. I believe that true climate justice encompasses ethical and equitable practices that honor the interconnected web of life.
As an intersectional feminist and human rights defender, my commitment extends to championing diversity, inclusion, and equity. Grounded in my study of International Law, my conviction as a human rights activist is rooted in the belief that every individual inherently possesses fundamental human rights, irrespective of factors such as sex, gender, race, sexual orientation, religion, and beyond. I firmly believe in the imperative of being mindful of the various intersections that shape individuals' experiences, and I am dedicated to translating legal principles into tangible actions. By acknowledging and addressing the unique challenges faced by diverse groups, I strive to support those who may not have equal access to opportunities.
